I use Zipper to compress and uncompress files. Lately I'm finding it will not uncompress. Any ideas of what I can do to fix this problem?

Hi Dave,
When correctly installed, Route_Riter should be able to compress/uncompress any MSTS files (.s/.t/.w)
FYI I used to use the code from zipper to do the compress/uncompress options in RR, but after a change in Vista it stopped working and Okrasa never got around to updating the code he sent me so I had to change over to using TsUtil for this function.

Mike,
I have a question for you too. I was looking to uncompress all the S files in a route folder today using Route Riter, and when I did, they were no longer recognized by SFM or Shape Viewer. Shape Viewer states that they are invalid S file format. Any ideas why this would happen?
Thanks,

That would surely suggest that Sketchup might have a problem with its file formats? Certainly TsUtil never had any problems with files produced with 3D Canvas, TSM, GMax etc.
I have not heard from Okrasa for many years, he just suddenly disappeared from the scene.
If you could send me a complete model (including textures) made with Sketchup which gives problems with RR, I will send it on to Carl-Heinz and see if he can see any reason why you are having these problems.

While reading your post, I have just uncompressed a batch of .s files and had no problems reading them with SFM.hta or with Pauls Shape Viewer. Are you using the latest Route_Riter, TsUtils and Java?
Some recent reports of problems with uncompressing have been due to users of Windows 7 not running RR as Administrator.
