    Lack of response from Streamlines

    Hi,
Recently my HDD crashed and I lost everything including my e-mail which included key codes, serial #s, order #s etc.
Most vendors have been very coopertiave in assisting me. This includes FS and my various versions of TS. However when I filled out a support ticket at Streamlines I nerver got a response. The people at SWREG sent them an e-mail and still no answer, I requested my ticket number 2 or 3 times and got nothing back. I even went and sent an e-mail to their corporate office with no response. I'm usually not a complainer, but I've been in sales and customer service for over 30 years and strongly beleive this is no way to treat a customer.

Just to let you know, you're not being treated any differently than others (me in this case). I've sent an email to "corporate' and also have a support ticket in. No response since Sept. 9. See, we're all treated equal.

Ed, unfortunately there's been no record of any support ticket ever being received from you through our support ticket website. Not sure where they went missing, but I'm more than happy to help rectify the situation for ya. Feel free to drop me a PM here on the forum with your e-mail address that you used when making the purchases and I'll get all your information resent right away.

Same here, put a support ticket in about a month or so ago. To date, no answer. It still appears on the site.

You all made the purchases thru safeguarding. If u go through their steps, you will find everything u need there. I recently just went to their site, entered my info, and every sli purchase was right there.

Safeguarding? please explain, I assume it's a purchase processing website.

I back-up using a cd/dvd burner -or- a hard drive and a docking station. Hard drives are so inexpensive that you can get a second one, plug it in (the docking stations I use are USB so you do not have to open a case even), and except for something catastrophic that would destroy two hard drive at the same time, you pretty much have yourself a safety net. Even with a purchase processing site, you usually still have to come up a cc number or transaction number, or something...that was probably lost with the hard drive.

What is this "safeguarding" business? I can't find anything about "safeguarding" on SLI's website, or on the email that I got from SWREG when I purchased SLI's Scenic 2 Engine Upgrade a few days ago. Please enlighten all of us who would like to know about "safeguarding".

I sent you a PM with a read receipt a couple of days ago and haven't gotten a response yet. Is there a problem?

Isnt safeguarding that con swreg tries to sell you by adding it on at checkout and making it your responsibility to remove..

I simply keep a copy with a copy of the package and activation number on a backup drive. However they still should be able to chase it through your CC details and email I would have thought regardless of the date.

Sorry Ed, went out of town and am just getting settled back in this morning. Don't worry, you're at the top of my to do list within the next few hours. Sorry for the delay.
