Ugh.... It never fails... Every time I get a little bit of money I want to save, SLI or Valleypass comes out with something I just have to have.. Especially since this has 53' Schneider National containers in it which I am extremely fond of seeing as how I work for them hauling those very same containers.....

I wish they would clarify what upgrade vs. full version means for those who just want the stock. I assume an upgrade is to convert the Santa Fe version into a BNSF version, while the full version produces a duplicate copy, allowing you to preserve the previous Santa Fe era Seligman 2. What would be the way to go if you are buying it just for the stock alone? Would the upgrade do?

The stand alone version creates a self contained route. The upgrade does that too, except it copies some files from the ATSF Seligman 2.0 route. If you would like to just have the rolling stock, we can look at doing a separate addon for that. In the meantime, if you don't want to wait, the upgrade would work for you.

              Regards,
              Jason@SLI

I would be real happy with that option (just purchasing the rolling stock and new engines). as I'm sure many other's would be, who have also recently purhcased Seligman 2. Jason, please keep us updated.

So..... If I have the current v2,all I need is the update and I'll have 2 seperate routes? BNSF and ATSF. Just trying verify, the info is kind of vague.

Yes, if you have the ATSF Seligman 2, you only need to purchase the upgrade and the installer will create a separate directory for the BNSF Seligman version. Both routes can be present in the route folder without any complications.

My installation of the upgrade did not copy the TERRTEX folder.

The terrtex didn't change at all, so maybe just manually copy it over. Not too sure why it didn't do it automatically though

So let me get this straight. You want to fly on a magic carpet, to see the king of the potato people... and plead with him for your freedom, and you're telling me you're completely sane?

Oct 4th I bought the ATFS_Seligman2 route. I wish I had known they would upgrade within a few weeks, I feel I have an old product now. 26 consists in the AFTS route are broken anyway, I shoot them a ticket for that.

Has there ever been an upgrade option for Seligman 1 like there was with Scenic.

how can you have an old product now, ATSF Seligman 2 which you have is a route set in the 1990s with CTC and ABS and is the most up to date version of it, and the new route (which does not overwrite your current one) is an additional route set up to date in 2011 reflecting the changes that have occurred in the last 15 or so years and is now fully CTC and resignalled. they are completely different to each other. both offer the users a completely different operating experience as well as a big change in the type of operations going on.
