I thought I was (somewhat) clear on this, but after reading recent posts, I'm not so sure. Has the updated version of Seligman 2, which came out 4-5 weeks ago, now been updated yet again? I purchased Seligman 2 when it was first released, and now am only hoping to get the new engines and rollingstock.

Its been upgraded into a BNSF version of the route, and sits on your computer as a separate route to the ATSF version.
The $35 full price version is really for those who haven't already bought the ATSF version of Seligman 2.
Any future stock-only pack (that doesn't exist yet) would be mostly for those who haven't bought either version of Seligman 2. They would want the stock without the download clutter of any route tiles.
But if you already own the ATSF version of the route, you can get the stock with the $25 upgrade, and as a plus, get the BNSF version of the route essentially for free.
Unless any future Seligman stock-only pack is sold for a cheaper price, I don't see why anyone who owns the ATSF version of Seligman 2 would want to opt for a $25 stock-only pack. For the same $25 price, the upgrade that exists now gives you the same stock and the second copy of the route as essentially a freebie.
That's the way I see it.Last edited by geepster775; 10-15-2012, 08:33.My Open Rails videos https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClc...1kBPO2A/videos

The only previously released number was GP60 8722, which was omitted from the re-released ATSF GP60 pack. Other than that they are all new numbers.- Chris N.
So let me get this straight. You want to fly on a magic carpet, to see the king of the potato people... and plead with him for your freedom, and you're telling me you're completely sane?

Thanks.Originally posted by defect_detector View PostYes, if you have the ATSF Seligman 2, you only need to purchase the upgrade and the installer will create a separate directory for the BNSF Seligman version. Both routes can be present in the route folder without any complications.MK

Thanks poochwilly
With Harvest Heavyweight the overtaking manuvere at Peach Springs goes off with no problems, but then the train that overtakes yours gets stopped at the next absolute Stop. So far I've waited 15-20 minutes with nothing happening and my train closed up to the AI train. Maybe I've got to wait longer.
With Headin' to Phoenix, all goes well until I'm just west of the Navajo sidings and the compter just freezes.
And as noted by poochwilly, A bad Day for trains just freezes at the opening screen.
I'm also running W7 64bit. Even though I have the ATSF Seligman Route, I opted for the full version of this BNSF Seligman because I wanted a stand-alone route. Whether this is significant I don't know.

And I've just remembered that Steamlines have their own forums. Quickly checked, and yes it appears there are quite a few people having problems running the activities mentioned - although not exactly the problems I encountered. Comments from that forum indicate a possible solution is running under Open Rails. Not sure this is a proper solution. Not a good sign and not impressed.
