Attention Marshall from Streamlines, missing ace files from your new KCS freight set.

Hi Marshall,

I don't know if you are aware of it or not but this new set is missing the following ace files from one of the engines.
They are: KCS_AC4400_4618a.ace & KCS_AC4400_4618b.ace.

I didn't notice it in O\R because I have the "Load dds textures in preference to ACE" option ticked. It was when I went to view this engine in shape viewer that I noticed they were not there.

I don't know if Marshall still works there or not. Well, hopefully someone from S\L will see this post (if they haven't been informed already).

Some sort of warning seems like a good idea. I think you would also notice the missing textures when you load the engine in O\R. Mind you, on the bright side, the bland gray looks nicer than the bland white in MSTS. :-)

Converting DDS to ACE files is a snap as long as you have the right tools available for the conversion.

Conversion is always last resort. Generating from originals is always preferred.

What rate of sales tax was collected? Since rates vary by location that might identify where they believe you are located. For my order of $15.99 I was charged sales tax of $0.88 for a rate of 5.5%

Jason, I just wanted to point out that the two KCS units are slightly incorrect. KCS 4584 and KCS 4618 should have the numberboards above the cab windows rather than on the nose.

Would there be any possibility of seeing a fix for this?

Other than that, from the screens the set looks really nice. I look forward to purchasing it and giving it a spin.

Good observation...I guess we shouldn't have taken such a long hiatus.

These changes will probably have to be included in a patch, which, if should be available by the end of the weekend.
