    Hi,

    With Route_Riter 7.6.26 ("ENG/WAG file Editor") I would like to improve frictions parameters (Tool: "Update Friction") of some bulkhead flat cars (loaded and empties) and woodchip cars. However, I noticed that some type of cars are not included in the list of rolling stock available (Menu: "Select Type of Rolling-Stock") ... Indeed, only the parameters "loaded flatcar" and "empty flatcar" are availables in "Friction Bearing Rolling-Stock" section... For the woodchip cars, the "loaded chipper" parameter does not exist in the menu, while only "empty chippers" is available in the Roller Bearings section...

    Questions:
    For the flat cars, is it correct to use the same friction parameters as "centerbeam"?
    For the loaded woodchip cars, is it correct to use the same friction parameters as "loaded gondola" ?

    I know I could use FCalc 2.0 but regardless of the number of cars that I want to improve the friction parameters would be too long to do them one by one.

    Hello Matthew,

    In my opinion, you could use the Centerbeam selection for the bulkhead flats. I'll bet it will react similar enough for enjoyment's sake.

    You should use the loaded hi-cube boxcar friction for the loaded woodchippers. Since the woodchips prevent air resistance that is found with an empty car, FCalc2 just sees a tall, rectangular 130 ton car, or, a boxcar.
