Hi All,
MSTS ran just fine on my Win7-64 laptop. I only use it for the activity editor, otherwise I use OR.
I installed the activities included with Marias Pass 3.1 and I also installed these into Marias Pass 5 (by renaming the route folders and the IDs in the .trk files, as per the instructions with MP3.1.
As far as the activities work (some seem to have bugs...) OR runs them just fine in both routes. However, when I tried to fix an activity I now find that both MSTS as well as the activity editor refuse to start. I get a windows dialog telling me that it has stopped working and I can either check online for a solution or close the program. Problem details:
I ran Route_Riter and it fixed a bunch of sound errors. I also corrected some missing locos. It still won't start.
I also disabled both MP routes in Route_Riter, but that just made the crash happen a lot quicker.
What else can I do to diagnose this?
Thanks,
Peter.
