    Updates from Fahrt Frei (Germany)

    Hello everybody!

From now on, there's a new commercial producer of activities for the MSTS. It's called "Fahrt frei" and offers activity-packages for sale and repaints for free.

Right now, there's lots of work to do for me, but i go on and hope, that i'll able to offer the first activity-package as soon as possible.

These activity-packages are made for the routes of "German Railroads", "Halycon" and "Pro Train". Every activity-package will be offered as a German- and as an English-languaged version.

So far, my facebook page is online. Here's the link:

    Fahrt frei

The next step will an own website with a shop.

So, if You are interested in driving trains on German routes, than i will offer You nice activities for them in English.

Best wishes to all of You!

    Frank

I'm sure the name will generate a few snickers as read in English, but please try to contain yourselves...

I know about the similar sound of an Englih term

But the choosen name is the official name of a signal ordner, what means "clear".

Will you only make repaints of German locomotives, or will there be locomotives from all around the world?

            This depends on two things.

            1. I'm specialized on the German railways. My knowledge about other railways is not enough.

            2. To offer repaints, i always need the permission of the owner of the model.

So, i would need lots of informations to repaint the rolling stock from other countries.

There are a LOT of facebook pages called "Fahrt frei". I'd suggest you add something to that? "MSTS Fahrt frei" or "Fahrt frei MSTS" for example?

Your choice but searching Fahrt frei from my page doesn't show your page at all. I know the link works BUT it won't show unless I log in from that link and I'm only doing that from my page. Too many dodgy links to take chances.

Done! My first freeware package is completed and ready to download.

It's a big package of engines of the German class V 100 based on the model of Peter Hanslip. You will find the link for the package on my facebook page.

So far, the readme-pdf is only in German available, but i will create an English languaged readme-pdf.

Have a good time with the package!

There are two new packages available.

                      - The first package is an update for my first package. I found inaccurate .ace-files and corrected them. Available under

PF DB V 100 Package update

                      - The second package includes the engines of the class V 100.23 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn. They are all together 33 models. Available under

                      PF DB V 100.23 Package

Both packages are also available at the-train.de under

PF DB V 100 Package update

                      PF DB V 100.23 Package

Already in progress is the third and last package of this series. This will include models of the class V 100 of the Deutsche Bahn AG.

Have fun with the new packages.

The first one is an update for the first two packages. Here are the links:

And here is the third and last part of my engine-packages with engines of the class V 100 based on the models of Peter Hanslip. Now, the engines are in the service of the Deutsche Bahn AG.

                          Hi Frank,
                          The V100s look very good!
One question - They use German Railroads sounds - which is the best GR product to purchase to get these sounds, please?

                          Cheers,
                          Ged

The best choice would be the DVD

"German Railroads - 10 Jahre virtuelle Eisenbahn"
