    Hi advut,
Thank you for your previous contributions - I'm sure they are appreciated. However, your comment in post #106 was way over the top and got the deserved reaction. Have you ever thought that the reason you don't get helpful responses is, very likely, because other members, or those who have read your post to date, do not know the answers to your queries?

    Cheers,
    Ged

WOW, overreacting is on 100% throttle with no wheelslip whatsoever!! Awesome!

BTW, I previously shared ways on how to change ORTS Sun size, colour and also shared a sweetfx preset. I now realise my blunder in doing that. So, thank you for the reactions.

Apologies for the caps and all...I think that advuts comment made me channel dear old OTTO..rip.
Been quite a spell since we've seen posts all in caps with colors...sometimes I miss it...not too much, a little perhaps.
I will not make this a habit. Promise.

LMAO!!! You got that right Vince ......sadly

....and "advut" YOU don't seem to have considered that others reading your thread may NOT have had an answer to your question ....but have been interested in the solution to the problem The whole point of a forum is to share and spread knowledge.

Perhaps you might consider sharing your solution? Don't worry if you were doing something stupid ....anyone who ever did ANYTHING did stupid stuff more than once

That seems quite selfish especially as I see there are several responses from the softwares author in this thread!

How to replace units in consist? I enabled all the views but can't figure out how. I selected unit in consist then pressed "replace only selected unit" but it's not working. Using TSRE5 v0.6958.

No, Chris. There is no "Unit View" to select on the "View" pull down. The choices are Consist List, Eng List 1, Eng List 2, Consist Units, Eng View, and Con View. Look for yourself there is no selection named "Unit View". However, if one selects "Consist Units" THEN you will get what Goku described in post #9. My point was to get him to use the correct terms.

????? He told you how to do that back in February on Elvas Tower. Works for me. Just add "ceWindowLayout = CU1" to the end of settings.txt. I added "ceWindowLayout = CU12" to get two Item lists. Then I set List 1 to Type = Diesel and List 2 to Type = Freight.

Now how do you enable "Unit View" as you said in https://www.trainsim.com/vbts/showth...78#post1930478

Why would any of those things affect one version of a Program and NOT affect another version of the same program running side by side?
