    Hi everybody.

This searching for Rolling Stock Is certainly an art form.

I Have been searching most of the Morning for Via Rail Rolling Stock.

Have tried :- VIA, VIA Rail, VIa Canada, VIA Canadien, CP RAiL, all in Capitals and Lower Case.

Apart the fact their Blue & Yellow and I have used them before, I am having no luck.

    Any help please ?

    Thanks

    Paul.

Hi Eric, many thanks for help.

Unfortunately, File only contains Five Items, none of which I have used before.

Original search was something like VIA Rail Canada and the File I do remember had a Picture of Toronto on it.

      Thanks

      Paul.

There is also a United Aircraft Turbo Train. If you do a search for "Turbo", there is a replacement sound package on page 1, and the turbo train models on page 5.

          Search for the file viafpa4.zip

I have a folder called GB_ViaPass that has the entire VIA Canadian. I'm not sure where I got it from but the problem is is that the zip file had a completely different name then the folder that came out of it and I haven't guessed what that would be. At one time there were individual VIA Canadian cars in the library here. The 1955 CPR Canadian cars are still here but not the VIA cars.

          Paul :-)

The file with the VIA Canadian is named TrainArtisan_VIA_Pass2_020303 At one time t was available free on their website, free on a Canadian Pacific Heritage site, free here for a while, but no longer. You might be able to find it in one of the other Trainsim sites for free.

              Paul :-)

                Hi,
The TrainArtisan_VIA_Pass2_020303.zip file is available from the Wayback Machine - https://archive.org/web/ - if you enter trainartisan.com into the address box and select a 2005 capture.

Also there are the previously available free TrainArtisan items.

                Cheers,
                Ged

Those nice via cars were linked to the VIA web site. It took you to GB Trains, and they were free at that time. Gaeten made some great Canadian themed models, and I believe they are still available as payware at his site. Apparently all that is still showing up is the Valleypass Site, which I believe is just payware.

                    Hi Don,
Not true, Sir! For members of the ValleyPass Club, there are several VIA coaches and locos, including RDC, for free download.

                    Cheers,
                    Ged

                      That's true.
There is a page, the ViaRail Canada, for download at least 9 files free of Via Rail rolling stock. But we must be member of ValleyPass club.
                      Regards.

Hi Ged, must be me at fault again, not having much luck with this 2005 capture.

However I do have the VIA RAIL stock that I was looking for Yesterday.

But alas I'm back with the Problem On my main Desktop Conputer that I had with my Laptop before it was Nicked.

That Is :- My Rolling stock listed IN MSTS is not Displaying in the OpenRails Locomotive List for selection.

I'm guessing the fact that Fantasii and Monon 2 Routes are workng means I put the ScaleRail & ScaleRoads Folders in the Right place, If their anything to do with this, but not 100% sure.

                        but will plod on regardless.

                        Regards

                        Paul.

                          Hi Paul

Open one of the rolling stock folders and look inside, there may be a second folder of the same name, that's the one you want in tour TRAISET folder.

I use Winzip, that's how they do things when I select a folder to be zipped, they create a second folder with the same name and put it inside.

                          Paul :-)
