Is the Feather River Route lost to us forever?

Just wondering if 3DTrains' beautiful Feather River Canyon Route, one of the best detailed sim routes ever made for MSTS, is available anywhere in this sim world or is it lost to us train simmers forever????
Gone forever would be a shame!!!!.
    Anyone have any thoughts?

PS (I once had it but unfortunately lost it and a backup copy in a move and would dearly love to find another copy. )

It might be in the future, we will have to be patient and see. In the meantime, for you to catch up on the news, please read/scan the following threads.

Hi, I have a question. Can anyone tell me what happened to www.3dtrains.com, why and when, whether it will ever return and whether all of its products are currently available elsewhere? Thank you so much for your help. Sincerely, Connor Richey

Dear friends and colleagues, On January 19, 2018, I left behind someone I thought I knew and lifted a heavy weight from my shoulders. I believe that it is time to share the reason for my long absence. I am transgender. This is not a phase, a mental illness to be treated, a habit to be broken, nor even a choice to be made. I

You may want to reach out to Melanie from 3DTrains (user Bananarama on the forums) via PM if you previously purchased the route.

For the record, I'd like to purchase a copy as well, so I'm hoping Bananarama will make some of these available again.

I am in the same boat ( kind of ). I had lost my copy as well and kicked myself in the rear end for it.

I do have an old hard drive somewhere that came out of my old computer that I know it was on. I would have to grab the appropriate stuff to retrieve it.

However, with that being said, I would not hesitate to buy it again if it ever became available again, because Feather River was absolutely marvelous.

In a way, it's nice to know I'm not alone here. I can kick myself for not making several backups of all my old downloaded routes, but I now am convinced to do so! That particular route was exceptional and Mark's work on it really highlighted his talent! I don't understand what happened to 3D Trains to cause it to disappear, but it sure is a loss to our train sim world !

Come to think of it, I spent a couple of years redoing the scenery of the old "Sandpatch" Route which is here in Maryland, taking it back into the days of the B&O and those colorful Chessie System diesels...and then lost that one too when we moved to our new retirement home. Had a backup of the original route but not the version containing two years worth of work. Damn!!!! A hard way to learn a lesson, but learn it...I now have!!!

If you ever manage to retrieve the Feather River Route from your old hard drive be sure to make many, many backup copies!!!
            Thanks for the response.
