    any availabe PL42AC's

Back when the LIRR MSTS page was opened there were a few NJT downloads and one of then was a PL42AC since that page is gone and probably never coming back because of some friggin idiot, I wanted to know if there were any models available or in the near future?

    Cory

P.S. Yes their ugly locos but thats what everyone said about the Genesis and almost every other modern day unit, thats what happens when you hire a european designer.

As that friggen idiot, let me say that their piracy discouraged actual products from being distributed.

And it needs to have its pantographs fixed (they raise way too high now, even for US catenary) before it is re-uploaded... And the payware sounds removed (what use is diesel loco sounds in an electric motor anyway??)

Haven't tried actually running the loco yet, just viewed in Shape Viewer. Probably gonna get rid of the German cab and the payware diesel sounds anyway, and just use the HHP-8 sounds and cab. Fixing the pantos shouldn't be too big a deal for those with the right knowledge tho.

                  PL42AC In The Works

I am currently in the process of putting the finishing touches on a brand new PL42AC model, made from scratch in TSM. The locomotive utilizes real prime mover sounds that I recorded myself. I had a large delay in it's release due trying to make sense of the rather complex .sms file format. Look for it in the file library within the next couple of weeks.

We are getting more and more NJT content-Comet I-IV, Comet VI, ALP44, ALP46, and now a PL42.

The problem is that most of us have no route to run it on. Can someone with the PRR route see whether or not it is fit for NJT usage? (i.e. what stations exist and what don't)
