Cab editing on Windows 10

Hello all,

Forgive me if this has been asked before.

I have been a bit curious as to whether you can edit new cabs without the MSTS cab editor on Windows 10? Is it possible and if so how can it be done? As of right now all I can do is edit existing cabs to match locomotives.

I would like to make some new cabs that have all the levers, buttons that are operable to be visible and operable.

I use notepad to edit the cvf file which is normally located in the cabview folder of the locomotive.

I would suggest you examine cvf files for existing locomotives to see how they work and use them as the basis for your cabview.
