    A Few Canadian Oddballs

Anyone remember this horrid paint scheme? Not sure how long it lasted, but photos I've referenced are dated around 1980. I'm sure glad VIA didn't stick with this:

Then, around the same time there was an ex-CP unit in mostly blue:

This RDC's blue stripes started fading rather quickly, and it ran for several years with the yellow showing through:

Finally, RDC-2 #6207, still sporting an orange/red door from its CN days with a small VIA logo below the cab:

Those sure are some ugly schemes but I'll give you credit for making them look so good in MSTS Christer. Nice Work Christer.

Even "ugly" has a place in Canadian history. Take a look at some of our past Prime Ministers.

I like the F/A on the second F-unit... reminds me of the VIA F's that were around here for about ten years... now they are with the Pan-Am... on their OCS

Looking good! Is there anyway to offer a set of textures and Fa parts to fit one of the free F7 sets? I guess if you could please add the bell atop to your sets? I could alpha the right parts and fit the Fa to the V4 sets.

You mean this one? It's pretty close, but the standard F-unit roof and top of the carbody area was black instead of the oddball blue as on the 1418.

Those look really nice. Pretty ugly paint schemes, but you did a nice job with them.

Ever heard of Austrailia's V-Line railroad? Those remind me of V-Line's paint scheme.
