Very nice job Luke... You should do the same for Pacer, K Line, JB Hunt and APL.. all in solid sets, so they are "commonly seen" on one solid stack train. UP, BNSF and others have been running solid trains like those across country, as they get to Chicago, most get split up and delivered to other railroads like CSX, NS, CR and other environs. like UP's LA to Global2 Pacer.. in which contains solid sets of Pacer containers for Global2-CSX or others like that.
CR has ran solid sets of "same container" stack trains out of New Jersey to west coast ports in the past, mainly APL-to UP and BN, K Line- to BN now BNSF, Evergreen- both UP and ATSF now BNSF and such.Dave Edwards

You are exactly right.. Here are some good links that gets you an idea.. like a 40 on a 45 top or 45 on a 48 top.. and such..
http://www.barraclou.com/rail/cars/dttx.jpg APL stack (solid)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHRbldKJnlI you will like this.. This is the old red/white APL Eagle containers, now they have painted it blue with red eagle( http://www.nfm-verlag.de/uploads/Con.../apl_53_ft.jpg ), then Pacer took over APL's operations..
UP 8628, 5162, and 5227 lead a K-Line stack train south through Old Town Tacoma, WA. DPU power is # 5481. A 2010 video.
