ACF Hopper skins

I uploaded the repainted skins from the 3 bay ACF Hopper mega set I did, each skin has no car numbers so people can make more. the skins are all clean and ready for weathering.

The reason I uploaded these was to help people with repainting and to allow people who want more cars.

My guess is that the FMLX one is the real one. Why? The other 3 do not have private car line reporting marks. Private car line reporting marks always end in "X". Note here that the CSX reporting mark is "CSXT," so as not to have it confused with a private car line.

I also see a bunch of them come through Brattleboro, interchanged between NECR and Pan-Am. A recent thing.

Yes, FMLX is a real car, We get several of these for Phoenix Feeds, carrying S-Carb. In fact there was also an SRLX car with Soybean I need to do as well that fits this car type. I want to do a couple more FMLX, FURX, and NDYX cars with these. We'll see.

Also, while the VTR/WMRC cars are generally fictionalized, VTR did in fact have real ACF centerflow cars at one time.

Also just because they are not private cars such as FMLX, doesn't mean they aren't real.

Glad you all are enjoying the skins. Just means I have more to download and add! It makes it nioce to see the community starting to bounce back and becoming more active.

I am working on the 2 GP 15 you talked about shawn. I really like the weathering and fading on each. So they will make a nice addition along with the fictional IR GP15 i am going to upload as well.

I'm just doing some private stuff for my own railroad right now between all the other projects.

hehe... and here I purposely fictionalize my work for the most part because I can avoid the rivet counters that way.

Oh by the way... the website below in my signature finally got a facelift...

Nice looking unit Michelle, something about that orange looks real good with some slight weathering. Looks like the fleet is growing!
