With reference to this thread - https://www.trainsim.com/forums/foru...up-locomotives I actually used a font editor to create narrower glyphs for fonts. Problem is I've forgotten which software I used to modify the glyphs!?
The software I used was fairly easy to use to make the glyph lines (narrower or thicker). The process was fast, select the glyph to edit, select the function to modify glyph line thickness, and apply changes. Done!
I thought the name of the font editing software I used was named Font Factory (or something very similar), but this name doesn't seem to be a valid name (so far as I can find). I've (re)downloaded FontCreator (which I thought might be the software I used years ago, but it doesn't seem as though glyph line thickness can be modified easily, wrt to the software I used years ago). Tried FontLab, but the interface looks different to the software I used years ago, plus it doesn't appear to be easy to modify glyph line thickness also. Finally tried FontForge, but again like FontLab the interface appears to be different to that of the software I used previously, and it appears to be difficult to change glyph line thickness.
The nearest software to what might have been the software I used years ago is FontCreator. The interface seems to be similar to the previous software, but the process to modify glyph line thickness is not quite what I recall it was, and is a bit difficult.
So, is there font editing software that allows editing and changing glyph line thickness easily?
