    ALP-46 progress?

Last I heard in January, TrirailF40PHL was working on the cab for a new ALP-46. Does anyone know if there has been any progress since then? Thanks.

I'm curious too, I haven't heard from Kurt (TrirailF40PHL) in a while. Chuck Schneider may have an update. I'm guessing he's busy with school and other projects. To support this project, I'd worked up a potential sound package for the ALP-46 with some sounds from video by William Platt "styckx" and some of my own as well. I think it sounds good, running it with an ALP-44, but I'd love to see the actual model.

      Followup with Kurt

I exchanged e-mails on this subject and here's his reply:

      Hello Steve,

Busy as hell. I haven't even had time to reply to Chuck's January PM on T-S.com (feel free to let the forum know this). Semester has been a complete and utter drag, and not a fun one at that.

Hopefully, I'll have time to complete that cab over the break. I'm not giving up, I made a promise on it.

      Take care,

      -Kurt
Kurt's a good guy and he has his priorities in the right place: school. I also know he keeps his commitments. I'm sure we'll hear more from him when he has the time to spend on it to finish the job right.

Well that's a relief! I thought he had discovered girls and disappeared into that area like J-C Baerenz did (The creator of Big Boy) did when he went to college

P.S. Keep plugging Kurt - you'll get through

I told him I was concerned he didn't get hit by another Mercedes whilst riding his bike...

But the girl subject was probably more likely. Even if that WERE the case, I'd still say he had his priorities in the right place...
