    ATSF FP45

I realize this has been discussed a while back, but I've been away from MSTS for a bit and am just getting some time to get back to it. I *really* like the 3DTS ATSF FP45 and sure would like to figure out how to make it a functional loco. I've searched the boards and come up with some messages that help a little, but I still can't make it happen. I guess I'd rate myself as an "informed learner" when it comes to tweaking. It's been quite a learning process and you guys have always been patient with me :-).

Would someone be willing to email be the .eng file of their operable 3DTS FP45? I be real grateful. Any other advice on the matter will be appreciated. I can't fathom why they didn't make this thing functional, as I think it's one of their better locomotives. I've been a big supporter of theirs from Day One.

    Glad to be back ...

    Regards,

    James

    RE: ATSF FP45

    Hi James,

Since no one has replied, Ill give it a go and tell you how I did it.....All you ned to do is copy the cabview file from another F45 (assuming you have the NALW F45 cabview) and add a CVF line in the .eng file. ( Cabview F45.cvf )Look at another F45 to see where to add it.

    Wala!! You can drive it!

Let me know if you get it. If not, E-mail me at niceoneace@aol.com and ill take care of ya off the forums!

    LAter!

        RE: ATSF FP45: Headlight problems

I've got it driveable, but am having lighting issues. when looking at it from the outside, the headlight is always on. But when looking from the cab, It works like it's supposed to. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
