53 X102 Trucks for your Highways and warehouses

If I can get all necessary permissions from SLI ....minus the shape file obviously. The shape is from Seligman. Any interest in these....I have ten or so. Too modern for me but I haven't shared anything for ions. LMK>....I will start contacting the SLI folks and see if they're cool with it.

I'm not sure how that would work in a route being unable to distribute the shapes, unless they're just for car spawners

Buy the route and get the shape file.....then you can rename it and use where ever....or don't....are you new? There are tons of things in the library that need payware shape files. The developers are gracious enough to allow retextures but rightfully so they have the right to keep the shape exclusive to those who paid for it.

        I don't know.

It's seems like a lot of work just to get some 18-wheeler models.

Lets try not to mimic how they do things at Railworks/Train simulator shall we?

sounds like a good idea as there are only 2 schemes in use on those routes and get a bit repetitive seeing the same trucks all the time everywhere.

            Hi Scott,

No matter what the naysayers say, I would love to have these additions tooling about my roads. I love reskins as they make it even more economical to buy the shape file. We can never have too much variety as we all have different tastes.

We Shall.....SLI as always was good with an U/L minus the shape. For those that dont mind a little work...easy as it might be....I`ll get these in the library soon. An Easy edit on the shape file after uncompressing it....a simple rename of the .ACE file.....Compress rename the shape Boom! You will need Route Riter.....

Great idea, the more the better. I have Carspawners in most of my routes at 100+ so you don't see the same ones over and over..

Go for it. If you are in the reskinning mood, I'd love to get a variety of 1940s and 1950s trucks. You can base them on freely available downloads here.

Does expressing some doubts really count as an ass-chewing these days? Wow...

They do look good, and I have no problem with you uploading them. That being said, in the interest of having everything work from the word "Go", I probably would use 'fully' freeware trucks, and point out that better stuff is available.

I suppose my big fear is that OR routes end up like one of the other sims (I don't remember which one) where even freeware routes had so many payware dependencies that it became a bit of a money pit just to get it to work. With rolling stock, it's not a big deal, since it's a shape file or two, and you're done. It could be considerably more difficult with a route. Call it an irrational fear, but...

                        Thanks Chuck!!!
I'll throw them into both the static object pile, and the spawner files.

The "other sim's" you'er likely thinking of is train Sim.

You know, the sim with over a thousand dollars worth of payware and hardly any freeware content in sight.

Or don't bother with the SLI shapes and use the ACE files as source material for repainting available freeware models. I will. Full credit included.
