Help with sound alias

As Robkeb says. Conbuilder is very accurate in its error reporting, although, unless you know how to read the errors, you might not think so. The errors will lie in one of three areas.
An error in the way the alias has been made.
One or more errors in the sms file.
The sound files not where the sms file expects them to be.

As for how to alias, if you click Articles at the top here, then on How-to, there is one on aliasing cabviews. Sound aliasing is much the same, except you alias to an eng or cab sms file.

One thing is for sure: if Conbuilder tells you're missing files, you're missing files!

I;ve tried to alias sounds from other eng. but i can't get sounds on the outside of the eng or in the cab. Is there a tutorial for aliasing sounds. Conbuilder is no help as it says that i am missing files, but the files are in the correct folders.
