    Ge p42 soundset v4

    I just uploaded a P42 soundset that I have worked on for quite some time. I hope you enjoy! Expect it in the file library 3/10/2011.


    Please post what you think about this set, once tested!

    Great to see the return of the greatest MSTS sundset out there for MSTS. I'm sure alot of people will be happy with this soundset.

      Yep, and I'm one of them! Just installed the soundset and aliased to my P42s and the sound is just *wonderful*. Thanks so much, EMDF7A!

              Nice sounds! I can officially announce that my 3DTS P42 sounds are outdated.
              Writer and Wolverine, among other things.

                I aliased some P42's that I downloaded from the Trainsim library. I then checked the engines for missing sounds in Conbuilder. X_P42_71.wav x_bell.wav P42_71.wav and x_wind.wav are missing. I did find x_wind.wav but the others I simply copied and renamed some files. The problem with that is the quillable K5LA might not work as I have more work to do to get an activity working and I won't be able to test the P42's right away. Could you tell me where to find the files? Thanks

                  Do not worry about what conbuilder told you. Simply just run the unit with the soundset aliased (properly) in game, and you shouldn't have an issue. not all sounds in this set are used in the SMS... take the wind, for example.. I decided not to have that in there.
