Slowly (and no doubt FINALLY) getting into finding and making proper horns for gear now. Thanks to you Anthony, and Ryan Reynolds and all. Before, I'd just be happy with whoever stuck whatever on a engine, and take their word for it. At best, I'd fix up the audio quality of it. But even then, not to the fault of the model makers - some of these horns were and still are cantankerous to say the least. But with a bit of hunting around and 'auditioning', some good ones are out there. Especially now I've learned you 'Mother Truckers' are affixing the genuine working articles to your rigs. MUCH easier to clean out and isolate the horns from those recordings, than trying to extrapolate from a YouTube railfan video with noisy trains and people and/or music all over the place.
So from 'Brass In Pocket' to 'Horn In Train' - it's about time for me.
