    Songs are super fast :D

So the CPR_CDN came with music ( 2 wav files) and I replaced it with my own two songs. Then I converted both of my songs from mp3 to wav files at 11025khz. For some reason the music is played 10 times faster than normal in game, but when I click the file standalone in the sound folder, it plays at normal speed. I'm going to edit with a sound editor, but if anyone has suggestions please post them.

Songs: Grand Larceny- Sea Level, Sympathy for the devil- Rolling Stones if you are curious to know the songs

I don't know if this will help but a friend of mine converted a MP3 to wav for me to use in a passenger car and had to do some adjustments and this is what the final was..

It was done several years ago and I have no idea how it was saved and I'm not in touch with him anymore.

I think it was for my 3 Axle Sound set that I put in 4 songs as 'muzak' for the observation car. Cutting audio down to 6khz mono, but leaving SMS # 11khz. it plays normally still. But the sound quality is bad. Yet, at a lowish volume, it's not too noticeable, and gives a little more variety when driving long distances and hopping into the back to see how the party's going. Of course, you could do a slew of songs mono @ 11k and set SMS to 22k, and so on. But then you're dealing with larger WAV files. Fine for personal use, but to upload and share anywhere, you could be looking at a 100+MB file that can't be handled easily with e-mails and such.

I will try that out. My sounds work fine as of now, so I am enjoying my passenger views with music. I play around with the khz rate a bit later. I gotta fix my acela bell errors now... which is easy :P
