Missing sms Files!?

According to latest Open Rails v1.4 log, there are two missing sms files -

Warning: Cannot find H:\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\trains\trainset\BNSF_ES44ACs\ car sound file GEVO_FDLeng.sms

Warning: Cannot find H:\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\trains\trainset\BNSF_ES44ACs\ car sound file GEVO_FDLcab.sms

Now despite searching for these files within the entire MSTS installation folder and sub-folders, these files can't be found.

And on searching ALL *.eng and *.wag files within MSTS installation folder and sub-folders, NO reference to these two missing files was found either!!??

So, who or what is referencing to these two missing files!!?? This is very puzzling!

Ideas?

I have 62 of those files in my msts set.

I suggest you use a different search program.

I used Windows 7 folder search as well as TextCrawler to search for these missing files and for references to these missing files.

Both search programs failed to find these files, and failed to find references to these files!?

I even searched my entire computer for these files!

Any suggestions for better search programs?

Textcrawler searches inside file so that is no good.

Win10 explorer found all the 62 files on my system?

I normally us a program called total commander for finding files.

OK.

I have just managed to find the "source" of reference to the missing files, by using TextCrawler (again). I had the "Whole words" checked and "List files with no matches" checked also by mistake in TextCrawler! I unchecked both options and checked "List files with matches". TextCrawler then found the corresponding *.eng file which referenced the two missing files.

I thought I had edited all the eng files within the BNSF_ES44s folder to point to the correct files, but I missed one eng file initially for whatever reason(s).

Issue resolved.

BTW, there are no GEVO_FDLeng.sms and GEVO_FDLcab.sms files in my computer anywhere. They are not needed anyway, for the moment.
