    Modifying sounds

    Hi all,

I'm aliasing the HHP sounds for my 1929 interurban trolley car to be released next week. It sounds really bad, but it is the only electric I can find. Is there any way I can get rid of the 'idle' sound outside? Ideally, I'd like to make up a proper set of traction sounds that sound right, but have no idea of where to start. I have a few .wav files that I'd like to incorporate, with a proper bell, a compressor etc, but I don't know how to add them. Any ideas, any help is much appreciated.

    RE: Modifying sounds

Matt search of the APSEL sounds on here and in the file library... Then modify from there....
I have used them as a basis for Electric Locomotive Sounds in the past!
