Friends,
One of our number asked me to do the north end of the AGS (NS) between Birmingham and Chattanooga
and I am doing it as a way back burner project but a peculiar question arises. This line, except for one or
two locations has no control points. It is automatic block, bi-directional, and the passing sidings all have
spring switches. I ass/u/me that manual turnouts would be the best substitute for a non-signaled,
spring switch, but anyone have a better/different idea?
