Nice world you have there. Almost doesn't need trains.

This will be a "Must Have" route. I notice that his YouTube links refer to segments of the MRS Logistica. That is one of
my back-burner routes but it has a special interest to me in that when my employer (Xorail, Div. of WABTEC) had a
contract to redo the signals on most of the route, I did the drafting of the "typicals" as an experienced designer and
friend created them in free hand. We basically did this work from scratch as the original signals were done by a
British firm in the 1980s and did not use CAD for the drafting. We did the "steel" line which was constructed new in
the 1980s, and also the portion that reaches the ocean at a ore loadout south of Rio.
I second the comment about great, highly detailed scenery but is this actually done with MSTS or TSRE. It looks
            more like TRAINZ.

I am developing this Estrada de Ferro Central do Brasil Route together with my friend Diter Otaviano, work done at TSRE5 with great care in the details based on documents and videos about the stretch, as you can see on my Youtube Channel, we are Open supporters Rails so we try to do as much detail as possible.

Good, and I encourage you to continue your project. I had great "fun" doing those typicals. Had a special keyboard on my PC so that I could enter the nomenclature in both English and Portuguese. Since names of things were different between US and Brazil, we had an employee of MRS with us too, so he could advise us as to how to name this or that item. I didn't go to Brazil but several of my colleagues did. That was back around 2012 or so.

                    Cheers, Gerry
It's my railroad and I'll do what I want! Historically accurate attitude of US Railroad Barons.

Is there any timeline to release this route? Seen too many fantastic projects unfortunately fall to the wayside, without any release....

                            Joe,

That was the reason I asked Nels to set up a "incomplete" category on routes some time ago. I have 8 or so under
construction & if I get stuck on one, I go to another. Track is mostly complete and many roads on all of them. I
have one more that would be close to a mega-route that I have not started yet except to prepare terminals at
the ends which are part of routes that are under construction. I'm 84 and have no KNOWN health issues but you
may remember the gentleman that made 95% of the Mega-Colorado route before he succumbed to cancer. He
sent "Coonskin" his incomplete final version & he forwarded it to me for completion. I have instructions set up as
to what my remaining HO equipment is worth, how I want my funeral done, and instructions that any and all of
my "routes under construction" at that time are to go to the "incomplete" category. It is better than some one
that is interested completes a route & issues it, than for it to just fall into "file 13". Although "Sullivan" is Irish,
my mother was a Cabel which is Scotch, and that strain is stronger in me, so one funeral request is for a piper
to render "Amazing Grace" on the pipes. Not a bad idea for any of us "old farts" to jot down our desires.

Indeed, I have seen that section and contemplate uploading some of my "stuck" routes there as well. I am at the part of my life (some years less than even half of yours) where I feel I can't give the attention to these routes that they deserve. Aside from 1 route modelled on the Khyber Pass (route is complete but the rolling stock to go with it is still WIP), I don't see myself releasing the others anytime soon.

I wish you many more years to complete all your projects. Unfortunately am not much into US railroading to be of much help, but I would be glad to assist if you have any projects elsewhere, and especially anything mountain related (started myself on Cusco-Mahcu Piccu line but the the DEM data available was just too poor to do the route justice)
