OK, now you guys have me curious enough to download the Monon to see what's up... I've been meaning to download it forever.
Somehow in 20 years, I've never added a route east of the Chicago River with the exception of the NEC that came with the default routes and Bob Wirth's Chili Sub, and even that only runs a few miles on that side of the river before heading west...If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... Hi Eric,
Man - you don't know what you're missing - I'm always mesmerized on how fluidly Rick transitions from the concrete canyons of Chicago through the burbs and out into the rural farmland. It's truly a wonder to behold. Enjoy. There's bat files to change the era as well.
