Oh, I've seen the screenshots... and yes, it's a piece of art. I've just never seen it in person so to speak.

    Hi Eric,

Man - you don't know what you're missing - I'm always mesmerized on how fluidly Rick transitions from the concrete canyons of Chicago through the burbs and out into the rural farmland. It's truly a wonder to behold. Enjoy. There's bat files to change the era as well.

    Regards,
    Scott

I had the same issue with the Super Elevation last year on the Monon.

OK, now you guys have me curious enough to download the Monon to see what's up... I've been meaning to download it forever.

Somehow in 20 years, I've never added a route east of the Chicago River with the exception of the NEC that came with the default routes and Bob Wirth's Chili Sub, and even that only runs a few miles on that side of the river before heading west...

What happens if you turn off the super-elevation?

    Hello Gerry,
It is located between Milepost 184.1 and milepost 184.2. you will see a bridge to where I screenshotted the problem.

If you couldn't re-create the route screenshot conditions when the track ballast went missing, then the log will probably not be helpful. Where is the route location that has the missing ballast --- any detailed information as to location will help others find the problem...myself for one, I run the Monon all the time, and have not encountered this.

Nothing obvious in the logs... On the Video tab, did you set the world object density or default detail (detail bias) slider to show less detail by chance? Those might eliminate objects with a high static detail level number or LOD. Density should be 49. Detail should probably be in the middle.

Another thought is that it's looking for DDS where ACE should be or vice versa... If the berms are actually built into the track pieces, that could be a culprit as track shapes are handled differently from those in the route folder.

    Hi,
There's nothing pertinent reported as missing in that log file. No date and time are shown - is it really the log file created for the session from which your second screenshot was taken?
