Did some detailing work on BLW/ZT's BR&W CF7s, 41 in particular. The idea being to bring her fully up to her 1986-1987 appearance with warning labels on the main generator area of the long hood (which she actually got from the get-go in 1984), numbers under the BRW cab decals, fuel fill label, etc. 42 got the warning label which is about all she needed.

The returning westbound Reno Fun Train is seen blasting through Truckee on its return to the Bay Area. Amtrak heritage twins 822 & 145 are on the head end this year, adding a touch of class to the mish-mash of equipment.

First, a trio of Iowa Pacific cars, including bag-dorm Sunset Harbor and 2 Budd big domes.

The, private car Plaza Santa Fe as the third Gold Service dome and a couple Horizon cars.

Followed by private cars Royal Gorge (acting as piano lounge and gift shop) and Overland Trail (acting as a dance car, with most of the seating removed and a dance floor in it's place) with more Horizons.

Then Iowa Pacific dome "Prairie View" followed by more Horizons.

And finally, private car "Pacific Trail" brings up the markers.

Should've, could've, and would've happened, but it never did: Amtrak #3 pulls into San Bernadino behind P40DC #819 and P32-8BWH 511 in the late 90s.
