NAVS EOT Pack( Correct Set-Up Method )?

Yes, I've read The Read-Me, but don't understand it. I've got The Navs_Freight Installed into The Main ORTS Trains Folder for The FRED's Turbo Wine Sound*. But, where does everything else go, I'm stuck there?

    Are you installing from "navs_eot_set1.zip"?

I believe it's all installed in the main trains folder versus the usual trains/trainset folder. That's how it's set up for mine, including the additional ones I've done.

the two folders in the zip are to be copied and pasted into your main Sim directory or directories if you have multiple "mini route" installations for Open Rails.

once you have copied them over your trains folder will look like this

As far as I have been able to tell you cannot add these to a consist in the TSRE or any other consist editor. you add them to your train in the sim using the Ctrl + F9 key which will bring up the End of train menu

you can then select the end of train device you want, and place it on your train

P.S don't forget to bring up the regular F9 Train operations menu and connect the brake hose on the EOT and then open the rear angle cock on the car its connected to. (or hit the "initialize brakes" key)

The EOT can only be accessed with Ctrl+F9, not F9. As far as installation goes, all you have to do is extract the SOUND and TRAINS folder to your main OR content folder. The SMS file will end up in the global sound folder, correct.

As far as the device showing up, the sound files aren't really much of a concern, it's probably more important to focus on the EOT model and physics files. Your TRAINS folder should have an ORTS_EOT subfolder with the following subfolders and files in it:

                  Code:
                  /NAVS_COMMON
                      Digitair_6699CC_Lights.inc
                      EOT_Coupler.inc
                      EOT_Physics.inc
                      Pulse_Lights.inc
                      Wabtec_Trainlink_ATX_Lights.inc
                      NAVS_EOT_Digitair_6699CC.s
                      NAVS_EOT_Flag.s
                      NAVS_EOT_Pulse_Electronics.s
                      NAVS_EOT_Wabtec_Trainlink_ATX.s

                  /NAVS_EOT_Set1
                      BNQ_26771.eot
                      BNQ_45254.eot
                      CPT_88094.eot
                      Flag.eot
                      NAVS_EOT_Set1_T.dds
The EOT devices should show up as "BNQ_26771," "BNQ_45254," "CPT_88094," and "Flag."

Is your ORTS_EOT folder in the TRAINS folder or TRAINSET folder? ORTS_EOT should go in the TRAINS folder, nothing should go in TRAINSET.

I know posting this information is hopeless --- but I'm not going to stop 😏 --- OR Manual --- Section 8.16 EOT - End of train device.

Manual can be found in several places, OR website >>> https://www.openrails.org/learn/manual-and-tutorials/

Also a copy is in the Documentation folder in the most recent Stable Version 1.5.1 --- and probably on GitHub.

Apologies, I must have missed it earlier. Strange. It sounds like you did everything right. I'm out of ideas unfortunately. :/
