    Train Simulations SD70M Eastern Roads

Train Simulations continues churning out new things. This time SD70M's for NS, CSX and NYSW all in one pack

    https://www.trainsimulations.net/sd7...713LrWEIDgxSFd zx-MliK2WlaF21OW4ILwR5WGFWthyMp25F1PHylQ_aem_AYh8_pE9 I_iHOwniMmXbu4AZOhjGfKHZUZyPomokjJIiwIIXFRD1ZSuPAJ lz_4zw6wuYPhfRvb0-tn0eiYnG64VK

Hopefully some more BN/ BNSF Macs aren't to far behind,

if there's more rolling stock packs next, I won't be surprised if autoracks are on the way. A severe lack of proper quality ones.

Those NYSW SD70M's spent most of their lives on other railroads, versus the NYSW. So I'm definitely look forward to running many miles on those units!

How do these guys find the time?....

BNSF has been conspicuously absent for a while with the exception of the Seligman route. Almost seems like a licensing issue.
If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... Thanks!

The update to the starter route included a new BNSF GP38-2 skin, so BNSF is still coming out of the factory every once in a while. Granted, that's freeware and isn't some high fidelity model made to look just like the real life locomotives of the same road numbers. With the SD70 trend it would be nice to see some of the many liveries BNSF SD70MACs had. Throw in some bethgons and then you got a train set that can run on every BNSF route.

I noticed the BNSF GP38-2 looks like the model from the Conrail pack, minus the pilot plow. Look carefully and you see the late-era radiators (non chicken wire type) BNSF did have some like that, including any reworked TP&W units and possibly some C&S/FW&D or late era Frisco units

It is very interesting that BNSF is always the most wanted railroad when it comes to any of these simulators, whether it is locomotives and cars themselves, or routes in general. I mean, if we were to look at the statistics, and I am sure Eric has a way of checking this, BNSF has got to be number one in the file library here, even over Uncle Pete.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the only payware BN/ BNSF Grinstein MAC's available were from Diesels West correct? I actually think those were my first payware loco set purchase for MSTS way back in the day.
All the SLI and TS MACs were in the BNSF H2 Scheme
Three Burlington Northern SD70MACs line up on the west side of the Alliance Diesel Shop waiting to be moved inside for maintenance work on June 13, 1998. It still looks like BN around the shop except for the single orange SD70MAC and a Santa Fe C30-7. A good number of BN GE C30-7s mix with the SD70MACs, but a SD60M, Oakway SD60, and a SD40-2 can also be spotted.

Isn't BNSF the largest railroad in the US? People tend to like what they experienced in person, so by that metric, it'd make sense that the largest railroad would have the most interest.

BNSF never had SD70Ms, your most likely thinking of SD60Ms.

I'm surprised that there's been 0 BN SD70MACs done since the TrainArtisan model came out, not even any for Danny's model. Closest thing was an executive unit with BNSF patches.

Huh? I said SD60Ms, not 70MACs. BN never had any 70s in the green scheme.
