    Needing sound file

    I just downloaded the SD&AE route and as it loads it says it needs a sound file. i assume its the MSTS USA2 file. How can i track down this file if i dont have the original routes with msts?

    If you are using OpenRails it will create a log file on your desktop.
    The log will name everything missing from the route.
    Search for these files on your computer. If you have the needed files in another route copy them to where the log says they should be.

      Why the assumption? Doesn't the OR log say what is missing?

          this stuff is like chinese to me can someone help me sort this out here is the bottom half of the log

            in light of starting another post i downloaded the tennessee pass route and the roadbed is missing i have xtracks and new roads what would i be missing Click image for larger version

              is you installed it here (C:\TrainSimulations\ROUTES) after installing any of the TS routes that is why. there are many topics about why not to do this

                      You have which sorted out? I see two issues here, the sounds issue and the (weekly event) incorrect placement of MSTS routes into the same installation as Trainsimulations OR grade routes.
