    HI,
Nick's OR log reports several scenery objects failing to load.

I have done two installations of LPS v3.01, one using the default files linked to by Eric and the other with a full MSTS default installation.

When run in Open Rails, both have exactly the same "scenery object failed to load" warnings.

I'm sorry, but it needs somebody with more experience than I to establish the cause of those messages!

    Cheers,
    Ged

Check the New Files in the library, and give that a go.

I looked at that, and it is places where the route is using track objects as scenery, and static objects need to be in the route's shape folder, not the global folder. I'll see if I can fix that in the mini route uploader I created.

Eric, any luck with sorting out these 'failed to load' errors in the log?
                    Regards,

                    Nick

Nope, it's not a missing shape. There's something else causing this and I'm not seeing anything obvious as a fix. Doesn't prevent the route from running, so I'm going to leave that mystery for someone else to debug in ORTS.

Hi Guys, I don't comment on things to often here in the forum, but sometimes I run into situations I have questions about. I usually find my answers when reading things here. This time I haven't found any answer to the problem I am having. Maybe it's the way my system is set up or something of that nature. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue that I am having. I love this new version of the L&PS mini, 3.01. The issue I have is with the boxcab's. Once you get them going, they don't want to stop when you apply the brakes, especially when running lite engine. They do stop eventually though. I have tried to adjust the braking parameters in the .eng file, but that does not seem to matter. Any suggestions? I haven't run across this before.

                          Thanks,

                          Tim

I've run into the same issue. Had one that wouldn't stopped until I routed it into a siding to hit a bumper.

There is issues like that are caused by brace errors.
My latest brace problems came from the MRS route, just about all the engines had unbalanced brace issues.

I've used both Notepad++ and Context for brace issues, also used Ged's "sms Checker" for sound files....I've gotten better at spotting them --- but have not really found an all around brace checker utility....I wonder if there is a specialty tool for the problem?
