    Hi Shawn K.,

thanks for your input and clarification. I just signed into KLMTrainsim.com. I found a 2010 post (by member Vince123) on the forum that said the freeware file containing NS Rolling stock was called "Norfolk Southern Megapack - Volume I"

That should be independant verification satisfactoy to anyone that it is okay to upload the pack I'm looking for.

      Hi,
@Shawn : Thank you - I'll check if Eric will allow me to upload the original pack here.

lvlender : The KLWTrainsim site still has the 'reduced' version of the pack, file name NSMP_1.zip, Norfolk Southern Megapack (Locomotives only). The file name of the original pack is NSMPv1.zip

      Cheers,
      Ged

If you get a 'proceed' light from Eric, please post here when you have uploaded. Cheers!

I'm fine with KLW items being uploaded here. I know his site is still up and running, but it's possible that one day it won't be.
If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... Thanks!

If someone wishes to upload anything KLW related, I don't see a problem with it. Just toss my name in the upload, something like "Uploaded on behalf of Shawn Kelley, with mutual agreement and permission provided from Kurt K.) Or something like that, and I do apologize, as I am drawing a blank on the spelling of his last name at the moment.

This also will put the pressure onto me if he does rise from the ashes and decides he doesn't want his files up here, him and I can hash it out.
            His last name is Kaminer.

              Hi.
              I have the original KLW_Norfolk_Southern_Megapack.
If Eric gives me authorization, I can put it in this forum.

No offense to Eric here, but I just wrote that the permission comes from me, why are we looking at Eric for the authorization?

I have the later version with the updated shapes, but because the installation method used can be confusing, I have done the install here, then zipped the resulting trains folder.

                    Hi, Shaw.
Without offense, I think Eric is the responsible by this forum, so I don't put any file here without his authorization.
If I am wrong, I'm sorry.
So, now, I don't no if I can put the file here and who gave me authorization.
I need authorization because I don't no about copyrights.
                    Regards.

Sounds like the permission comes from Kurt 😉

As I said previously, he has given me the authorization to give permission for his equipment, or any repaints of it, to be uploaded here to the library, that's why I don't understand after writing what I did, that everyone is looking at Eric for the permission..

I dunno, I did a search in the library for rrdiesel87 and came up with lots of NS coal hoppers built on the navs present day model. I guess its too new for some folks who need their daily downloads of 15 year old models.
