    ‘No-Go Showboat’…🦽

    ‘No-Go Showboat’…
The Beach Boys song coined that saying. Looks good, goes nowhere.

Hoping you can advise me. Using Bob Pickering’s POCAHONTAS MODERN ACTIVITY ROUTE (8 activity set) for Austin Yoder’s Pocahontas Route. Trying to run his activity named ‘X NS 6689 Pushers’. I reverse my pusher engines and couple up to the loaded coal train. Upon coupling to the train that needs a ‘push’ I expected the lead engines to begin their trip. Nothing happens. I tried to put power to (push) the coal train hoping to wake up the lead engines but, no luck.

How do I get the train to start moving so I can help push as the activity requires?

Please use larger font, even for my 43 yr old eyes, that is hard to read.

In the future, please provide the name of the library zip file that you downloaded, it might help others to find the files faster.

So let me get this straight. You want to fly on a magic carpet, to see the king of the potato people... and plead with him for your freedom, and you're telling me you're completely sane?

                Yes tarrant75,

you are correct. MSTS Pocahontas Modern Route Activity, File ID 68295 is where the 'X NS 6689 Pushers' activity is located.

We do have a "large print" option in the user settings.....

Did you release the handbrakes after coupling to the coal train? I just tried the activity and the train started moving after the handbrakes were released and the pushers were throttled up to 24%.

Don't need to use a large font setting if people would post in the default size :-)

The original OP font looks fine to me. It actually looks larger than other fonts in this thread. Not sure if it was edited after your post, but given I was the first to reply, I don't recall anything out of the ordinary.

                              Hi uli2,

to get the handbrakes off I was using key F9 and selected the hopper my pusher set was coupled to. I released that cars handbrake. Guess wasn't the fix.
(Actually, I wondered why any handbrakes would be set at all. The entire coal train was anchored by the 4 engines at the lead.)

I followed your post's explanation how you got the pusher activity to work. I used keystroke combo
(Shift+ ';') and all the handbrakes released. The train could be moved. MAGIC!

                              Thank you for your assistance.
