    Paint shop Pro?

Hey guy's I'm not sure this goes in here but I'm thinking of getting paint shop pro so I can renumber and maybe move some misplaced logo's on some of my loco's. Just trying to make sure I'm going to be purchasing the right program any feed back is appreciated.

Paint shop pro will work. I use Photoshop. There's also a free program called Gimp that does a good job.

Why not use an open source program.
Paint dot Net will do anything you need, is free, and handles .dds natively. PSP doesn't.
If you want, you can pay for it in the Microsoft store but you don't have to.

I've used Paint Shop Pro for years, and there are some free plug ins to be able to handle .DDS files.

Have used others, but never much cared for the user interface of them compared to Paint Shop Pro.

Been pretty happy with Paint Dot Net. Also got the free version vs, the paid thru MS Store.

Having used PaintshopPro 7 for nearly 20 years... I find paint.net to be a worthy replacement.

Paint.NET is free image and photo editing software for computers that run Windows.

I will add this as a link in the file Library later today, but I now understand why in Microsoft Store comes into this. They are using that as a way to help donate/fund the continued development. I guess that's cheaper than trying to operate a storefront or donation window for them.

Beware of the ads on the site, as they have download buttons to fake you into getting other things. Read very carefully before clicking on anything.

You can donate directly to the PDN devs and keep MS's fingers out of it.
                Worthwhile.

I like PaintDotNet, but is there a way to make a transparency alpha channel and save it in the TGA file like you can with PSP?

Double click the layer you want transparent and it will bring up a dialog box with a transparency slider.
