It's possible the ballast layerr is a little lower than the flat track was. I can look into that.

Look like you didn't load the trProfile.stf file for dynamic track.
The ballast layer is definitely 7 cm lower. I'll try to do correction set.If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... I've decided to stick with the default track for the Very Short Line.
I've already got a lot of the terrain raised and painted under the track and it just looks bad with the replacement shapes.
I've installed it for the other routes and it made a huge difference. Looks great.
Now for the question, where can I find the trProfile.stf file for the default track? I don't have it anywhere on my system and the VSL has short segments of dynamic track that don't texture map right.

Give me a week on the updated shapes to see how they sit.

Open 'yourRoute' and you will see
Copy and paste the Folder 'TRACKPROFILES' into each Route folder, this will provide the shapes for Dynamic Tracks.
This is clearly stated in the 'readme.txt'Last edited by oper190; 05-03-2024, 16:27.Owner and CEO of Hart Rail Lines & Hart Commuter Railways, and Hart Rail Cars.

To be honest, the rail as depicted in Norbert's US3 set was a bit too heavy-duty for most branchlines and yards. A default replacement set with rail that's not quite so deep might actually look more realistic. I'm looking forward to trying it.
On the other hand, if possible, we should also retain a default replacement set that does match Norbert's US3 cross-section. We can use that in conjunction with Norbert's many other track styles to get variety in track texture, rusty railheads, etc.

If this profile works, I can retrofit the one done with US3 textures fairly easily. The UV mapping doesn't change. If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating....
