I saw where all the pieces are end-capped, but the brdgend piece has no inward tapering guard rails yet. Was it supposed to?

The taper should be there unless I messed up the LODs...

I made two versions -- one has a 2.6m flare, the other has a 2m flare. Both look good, but let me know if there's a preference for one over the other.

I haven't tested extensively, but the Birmingham route suffered the texture bleed and now looks a lot better with these new shapes from what I've seen so far. Thanks!

Unfortunately, my summer season has already started and I don't have much time left for testing. However, I would like to give the set a change, although for me, doing without the embankment is a step backwards.The tracks can be raised with TSUtil, as Norbert has described for DBTracks and USTracks conversions.

PS: This route is the XTracks Reference Route from Okrasa Ghia. I installed the bridge tracks myself.

Keep in mind the scope: drop-in replacement

Using TSUtils to raise the track is not a novice task.

A2T bridges will be next, as will the slips. The set for testing here is not complete - its to assess if the terrain bleed is fixed.

Pnt bridge tracks will be troublesome, as the guards and points collide.

The shorter one might be preferred so as to avoid conflict with other scenery items (like a road crossing, or switch machines for a turnout right after the bridge)

Just out of curiosity Eric, so the new drop in replacement files no longer have the ballast that drops back down towards the ground like current scalerail and some of the DB/US tracks available, as well as the update of yours I have of a prior release?

In this version, the ties are at the same elevation below the rail as it was in xTracks. So on routes that were built for xTracks the ties remain above the terrain. But the edges of the ballast still taper toward the ground as in real life.

Few days ago, I was messing around on the Route Editor, trying to add an third line section (the area where I drew) at Scenic before the tunnel, has it in the real route, but then when I try to open the route and do a test to see if worked, the route won't even load (error on the 4th image), fortunately I have a backup from the files, but I did'nt figure yet why would happen that error, I have both ''Xtracks and Ytracks'' on the game folder.

If anything, the ballasted sides should work out to be a little steeper because of the 13cm lift.

Two options...

1) You can be a bit patient and wait for the ATracks to get finished up
2) You can uncompress the existing 1100 shapes, and figure how the UV mapping needed for USTracks vs. ATracks gets adjusted in each vertex.
