more request for texturing help with Blender

Scott & Pete, I figured I'd post this here so hopefully other can benefit from this as well. I downloaded a Blender model of an Airbus A320 that has an open license for use that I want to incorporate into a few route projects but I've hit a mountain of a brickwall when it comes to texturing it. (The texture isn't mine, I'm just using it to illustrate the issue)

This is the model in blender:

If I select all of it and open up the UV Editing tab, this is what I get:

If I select a small section, such as a specific side of the aircraft such as this:

I end up with the pieces all over the place such as this:

Don't tell me the sky's the limit, when there's footsteps on the moon..

Um, That's kind of "normal" behavior for UV Mapping. But you DO need to make sure that the UV Mapping is applied to the correct texture. Seems you are at the mercy of the original model's creator for things like this unless you are willing to re-map it.

NOTE: You *can* always "retexture it"... but that is rather painful.
