Some unique containers I don't think I've ever seen. They look good, and I'm sure I will find use for them.

One quick question: I've been looking on my hard drive for the the small excavator in the first screenshot. I have almost all of 3DTrains and 3DTrainstuff offerings, but I haven't found that excavator among them. Do have a file name or a lead to where that came from? Thanks.

The excavator comes on one of the flat cars from feather river.

Unoriginal is right, i just spent over an hour looking for them but in the feather river routes shape file folder not the trainset folder, its the GX-FC_SF90236LDa.s shape from the trainset folder, but I am sure thats not the one i used as mine has only 2 ace file entries whereas the one above has 5 and is a dual cat load. so the one i used must be in the routes shape directory somewhere. its 1AM here so i am going to bed i will have another look tommorrow.

gave it one last try just before shutting down, its the GX-Vehic_LogLoad01.s shape file in the Feather river route shape directory with the ace files in the feather river route textures folder.

i managed to find an affordable good second hand copy in the States for $20 plus $20 P&P listed as condition "like New with dust jacket" so i jumped on it and ordered as prior to that other searches were coming up with copies in worse condition without dust jackets for over $100 or more, thanks for the tip, look forward to reading it.

I could see getting many miles and uses of these ones for sure! There is an XPO logistics facility in Scarborough, ME that could easily take these as well as a bunch of other warehouse distribution centers in Portland and Westbrook.

These look great are they freeware or payware? Wow They are amazing.I think it's great that we could model the stuff we see on the cams and the trains that run today.

Thank you for finding that. The excavator does indeed have a log loader attachment. I likely would have never found it, as the excavator is of a 1970's-early 2000's prototype vintage, way different than the 1950's era Feather River timeframe modeled by 3Dtrains.

finally decided what to put under the containers for project 219, it will be these single DTTX wells by ATW, first one renumbered, containers are dropped by -0.1 in SFM to sit in these properly, so bear that in mind if swapping to other wells where you might need to alter them to fit (but you should check for that any way when moving FA's around)
