Getting near now, just did the first test run in ORTS of the STG Logistics 4 car set, have to save all the aces as DXT files and do the paperwork, so not to long to go now.

they have been uploaded, every container has a seperate number and in the case of the XPO it is a different number from the one previously uploaded.

MY UPLOAD PROJECT NUMBER 221 (CSX containers) STARTS BELOW

these i have just discovered will be easier as they are not mirror'd on the opposite sides, so i can do one container from one picture and just change the end pillars around on one side to keep the door hinges at the right end, aiming for a set of 4 again.

Bernard, just unpacked them and they look great. Adding them to all of my COFC trains. Big thanks for doing these, as they are numerous on the Class 1 trains!

well the CSX did throw up one wobbly, the door end as it was a different style to all the units i have so far cobbled together, so taking the blank door for the STG/XPO units i did a lot of cutting and pasting and came up with these ends all ready to recieve lettering and logo's (still have to change the white bits on the roof to red)

end of today's work, discovered when i came to do the closed end detailing that it had only 7 ribs instead of the 10 rib end i had so i had to modify it to the required 7 ribs, now looks right, have gotten some of the signage up on the ends , Does anybody know the phone number on the sign on the door of these that says "Drivers Wanted" i cannot read the number on the only pic i could find and the only other container i have with the sign and a legible number is a Hub Group one and obviously the number for CSX must be different, so if anyone knows the number can they reply in the thread with it so i can make the doors as accurate as possible.

They look fantastic Bernard, great job! I wouldn't lose too much sleep over the phone number though. I've got about 30 shots of the blue doors from various angles and apart from a couple of different model doors (which also don't have phone numbers on them), the layout of the others is identical to what you've started above. All that is missing from yours to the "standard" layout in my pics is the forklift rating under the ISO info (there's a nice clean one on the Unit53 doors I sent you and I've got a good photo of a dirty one on a CSX door if you want it?) and the weights in the panel above the container number. Overlooking 30 pics not being anywhere near the ballpark of a genuine sample, the drivers wanted sticker may not be that common?
                      Cheers!

another day another screenie, finished the 4 containers i had hi res pics for, and now i have to start making up pairs from those 4 by recolouring and renumbering, so i end up with 4 or 5 well loads, believe it or not the double stack pair in the middle of the pic is actually the same container top and bottom, but the bottom one was renumbered and a few other tweaks and then made a lot lighter and voila you have 2 containers from one pic. Blast just noticed that i still need to line up the post sockets with the door hinges on all of them, always forget to do that at the start.

well the soup is finally cooked Mr Ossie and its full flavoured, this is a shot of the completed CSXU container sets, 4 doubles and a single, enough for a 3 unit well and 2 singles, all 8 CSXU containers originate from just 4 photograph's.

These will be perfect for the SP Shatsa Sub, other UP related routes, all the way to every CSX based north east route, including FEC.

tested the set in ORTS this morning after renumbering up the wagons for them, as well as the info Shawn gave above i can also say that all the container photos i have used in all of the sets so far and those to come were taken behind BNSF consists in Southern California, so ideal for those as well.

just have to write the instructions and package up and i will be able to upload.

here are screenie's taken during the test runs
