Managed to find a refrigeration unit that Jeff Auberpine did a long time ago and sent to me that i could use on the Marten reefer its not the one that would be on this one but is very similar and much nearer than the one that was on it, took a while to find the correct position and size but going forward its now known so will not have to do that work again, so here is the business end of the reefer done, some aspcts of the mapping on this end of the shape are less than desirable like the fuel tank, but it still looks pretty good, i think. also managed to create the other side of the reefer by rearranging the elements on the only side pic i had (found loads of pics of the side with door to the right end but non with the door to the left, that were usable) but this replicates what i found and is the side shown in this screenie.

I've always found these Marten containers on the BNSF trains over the transcon, so this is a plus!

I've been playing around with the idea of creating some container chassis to go with these containers on the spine cars. Considering you can have more than one freight animation shape, might be worth just building the chassis and using David's container to load them via F/A tag lines. Might be worth looking into.

All that is left to do on this one is to line up the door hinges with the sides, put the reporting marks on the roof plates and the door and its done

In case you are wondering how i found out the roof and door styles, i found a container on the ground in a derailment on a you tube drone video and saw them on that, this is the screen grab i took when i paused the vid, the derailment was at Big Lake MN on the BNSF Staples Sub.

Well, looks like some good came out of that wreck, after all. I've used the crossing where that happened for railfanning many times over the years

These are looking quite interesting. I note that there are no check digits shown for the numbers, I guess that because they are only used within the US they do not have to comply with the ISO markings. I wonder how many wrong numbers slip through on to the train manifests, it's very easily done when you have a stack of similar unit numbers to deal with.

progress on the white arrow unit removed the overall purplish cast from the picture used so the colour looks better and added the roof and both ends, in the pic below the door is finished but the other end still has lettering and numbers to add.

seem to have finished the set, but have enough good shots of new stuff to do at least another one, have to write readmes etc and package, some good stuff in the next set as well.

Mkae sure that the files you use don't overwrite whats already been released! I had my jb hunt's overwritten by the walmart containers you did!

Also got the end details and roof details for the Estes container came from that same wreck. its how i discovered that the yellow band on the roof at that end was wider than the post below it.

How is that possible the files in each of those had different names for the containers and the wagons, the only things that needed to be overwritten were identical in both sets (like the common parts of the wagons} and that was mentioned in the readme files. all the container files in this set are different to those used previously as well. I have to make sure of that otherwise they would overwrite my own files as well.
