Thanks guys. Hope to get the other six numbers done this week.

Excellent model Pete, but will it be photo texture friendly? I ask, because this would be a major pain to get those ribs lined up perfectly with the 3d model version...

LOL. Absolutely not! A model like this can only be "painted" not photo textured.

It *can* be the basis for a lower poly/less detailed model where the MESH creates a *baked* texture though.

Unfortunately, I am absolutely not good at hand painted texture work, I mean, a lot of the engines I do kind of show that. That's why I've always stuck to photo textures when it comes to freight cars. Flat surface models it takes maybe 5-10 mins to photo texture, some of the 3d modeled cars from TS, it took me roughly 30 mins to an hour on manipulating my photos to match the cars without major flaws, you'll notice that with some of the boxcars and covered hoppers, and even some of the AOK/EMRY wood chip cars I did.
This model in particular, would probably take longer trying to get the ribs and sheets of metal to match correctly. As much as I'd love to have a 3d model to work with, with what limited time I have these days, I think sticking with David Rowes model will work best, even if it is a little inaccurate with the ends, which I did manage to manipulate enough to come closer to what they are designed to be.

Just a typo in the "Name" line of the .wag file. It should read "DRS DTTX 781071 2E - CMACGM".

Yes, a simple oversight in the readme file, nothing more.

Seems to be a goof up, probably uploaded the wrong file to begin with.
I've checked, the cars are all good on my system as they should be. 1A, 2E, 3D, 4C, 5B.

Easy fix for the end user. No need to upload a single wagon file as an "update".

Added two more, and made some adjustments to the wagon files to better suit the ORTS physics used. Also made an adjustment to the brake wheel chain, to represent the color spray painted on by car knockers, to acknowledge when the hand brake is released fully. Four down, four to go.

Getting back to something I actually enjoy producing more of. Lumber.

Still need a bunch of tweaks with the lettering, and some adjustments to the lumber load, but it's not bad so far. The new shape file from the SP Shasta Route helps too!
