Four more down, another 35 to go, before I go through and figure out which ones will actually be considered for the upgraded upload, and which ones will officially be scrapped or replaced with better textures, if I can find them!

Some of these may actually become "Storage" cars on the MEC Mountain Division, at least the WMRC version of the route...

Beautiful! You still seeing a lot of Railbox cars up your way?

Looking good. The RBOX cars are a good fit.
If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... Thanks!

It's very rare to see them now. Mostly FBOX that shows up these days. ABOX and RBOX I believe are starting to reach their 50 year mark, and more then likely becoming scrap.

Did some more today. I will eventually be going through each car and adjusting the alpha channel to these to help match the car sides a little better, for example, the CSX cars.. As I was going through, it appears some of the CSX photos used, are actually Plate B, so I may need to play around with those another time on the Plate B model from Erick.

All previous boxcars in the above post, have been adjusted to use the 70-ton trucks per the weight limits of the cars.

And a few more before bed.

I appreciate the kind words. I understand it probably lacks a bit of interest, considering these are simply "updates" onto a newer model and not much more, but to me, the new model gives new life to these photo textures that I feel, still hold up well.

A few more before I head off to work. This leaves four MEC (Pan Am) boxcars, eight RBOX boxcars, three SMW boxcars, and a WLO Boxcar left. I did find a better photo to work with for the SMW ex MMA boxcar, so I will more than likely include that too as a whole new car versus just an upgrade. Once these are all done, I will go through and do the fine tuning for the alpha channels, proper trucks and weights, test, and release.

More than likely boring people at this point with all these photos and nothing uploaded yet. Oh well. Got four more cars to do, then it is onto the finalization of adjustments, testing, and releasing.

And the MEC ones. This rounds it off to 51 updated models with textures I felt still held up well from my past NEPS and NVLW boxcars. Now onto editing the ends with lettering, and adjusting the alpha channels.

Love that State of Maine one. Which railroad was SMW?
