Ah, more so that I rushed what I did and have been noticing the differences between the real ones and the ones I mocked up. What other people do, has no effect on what I do for my own repaints. Everyone has their own ways of doing things, and mine are kind of sporadic..

I was simply giving some examples, even the overseas containers jump around from time to time.

I may wait a bit for another set of containers. There are talks Maersk will be making it's appearance on the NB&M in the next few months. Can't wait to see what they bring along for containers besides their own.

I never saw much interest in intermodal, until I started working with them in real life.

With recent threads and downloads I am developing a taste for intermodal trains.

bnsf no longer runs schneider they lost that contract last year. up runs umax and emp where bnsf is amazon and jbhunt. of course this probably change it always does. containers are usually
53 for domestic and 40 45 and 20 footers for ocean containers. Alot of people do not like intermodal trains I do.

CPKC is mainly their own CPPU containers with ex EMP's mixed in, as well as the occasional Canadian Tire, Midland(MIDU), and Maritime-Ontairio(MIDU), plus a lot of CMA-CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, UASC, Triton, Tex, Gold, APL on occasion, DAL, Global, and the occasional CAI.

CN is usually CN containers mixed with about the same as CPKC, but also has Bison, and mainly MSC, especially now after MSC basically pushed H-L out of Halifax...

CSX containers are pretty much found everywhere, I think even on occasion on the NS.
NS is mainly JB Hunt, while BNSF is mainly JB Hunt, Schneider, and other random stuff.

Smaller containers, you can typically find pretty much everything everywhere, depending oun the routing.

OK yea I just want to put different containers in the wells or change them out. BNSF and UP do not run the same containers were as NS and CSX see to run them all. Not sure about the Canadian
roads or the new CPKC. I will have to study up on those. So I can use paint .net to repaint some cool. And buy the way Burger burn is on fire with his intermodal cars and containers.

Well if all you have is shape manager, you probably need a bit more than that to reskin. Probably the best advise for starting out is getting a copy of Paint.Net to rework the images/skins.

All of my containers are freight animation files that can be used on any well car you desire. That was the whole purpose of making new containers from scratch and having a mix of single and double stack versions.
They work on both the TS wells and the ATW wells. You can easily make way more mix and match containers than what I provided.

Just find an empty well set you want, and choose the container sets you want, and add them via the freight animation line.

You don't necessarily need a 3D modeling program if the containers are separate shapes and added as freight animations....

The most recent NAVS well cars and containers are all separate objects.

Most of the recent releases also have the well cars and containers as separate objects. Some of the container shapes are double stacked 53ft units, others are single containers which could be loaded in a stacked form with the appropriate FreightAnim() settings.

Using either of those, you could easily update the WAG file with a different container shape.

It really depends on what you are trying to do and what you are working with. If you want to ADD a container to a car that doesn't have one, then you need a 3d modeling program to add as a Freight animation.

If it HAS the shape of a container that you need,,, you only need to change the IMAGE file,

If the shape is wrong,,, well, then you should be contacting the author to change it,,, or its time to learn 3d modeling and making your own replacement shapes
