Just uploaded the patch for segment 9 to the file library. It's been sitting on my computer for a week and I just forgot...got busy working on other things....oh well...

just realize i need to update Segment 9....Forgot to put in the EB SW Chief between Barstow and Needles....damn.......
oh well, will try to get a patch out to correct that in the next day or so....

Amtrak #3 Southwest Chief, 1995 Segment 9
The ninth segment of the 1995 Southwest Chief, Amtrak's #3 has been uploaded to the file library. This is basically a dash across the Needles Sub to Barstow. The dispatcher has set up a pass of a preceeding stack train, so you should maintain trackspeed as best as possible to enable the pass, before dispatcher releases the eastbound traffic.
Only one more segment to our Journey. For this final segment will be using Cajon Pass 4.2 by Charlie Sibaja, (available in the library) There will be an option to complete the journey on that route or stop in Fullerton, and use Surfliner 2.3 route by Jeff Farquhar and Paul Peterson with Version 2.3 update by Brian Smolke.
both of these options will be in Segment 10...
