I simply cannot keep up with how well Andrew is doing on this route. A huge inspiration for my own route building, but, excuse my language for a minute.... DAMN!

While Eastern U.S. routes are not always my favorites, I will make a grand exception for this one. TS's Mullan Pass and Shasta raised the bar on OpenRails routes, and it looks like Sand Patch will raise it another notch. Can't wait for this to be released, and one has to wonder what might be next in the pipeline.

Thanks everyone, this truly has been a collective effort. We still have a LONG way to go but lots of progress has been made thus far.

Not to derail this thread, but maybe Andrew can answer this question. There are some really nice scenery backgrounds on the TS sales website selections for the BNSF and Chessie Train Packs. Are those from the new Sandpatch or some other route in development? They are some great "farm country" scenery--cornfields that actually look like cornfields. I'm intrigued. Thanks.

I know the Shasta route has some cornfield spots.

Also I believe they had some sort of "demo" route to show off their equipment basically.
