    Terrtex Issue

    Good morning all,

I have a question for the route professionals.

In the photo below, why is the patch on the right of the tile grid sharp and crisp and the one on the left dull? There seems to be a mixture of these throughout the route. Is there some way to fix this or do we just need to live with it?

    Thanks
    Kenny

What size textures are you using? Have they been rotated?

      Hi Folks,

TSRE seems to reduce the resolution of tiles occasionally - I work in 1024 - then while painting one will go back to 512. It happens periodically. The fix is to grab another tile that is 1024 - overwrite the 512 - then paint it again. I don't know why this happens.

      Regards,
      Scott

Yeah, if you've edited or painted the terrain, that sub-tile will be re-rendered. I've not been able yet to identify where the resolution is being defined.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna leave it alone and continue working on the Pokey 2.0. Eric, I'm getting close to having this route ready to upload. Working the main line eastward I'm currently at the west end of Elkhorn tunnel. There's not a whole lot left to do to have it ready for the library.
